Fast and reliable gear for efficient interviews

When I’m on assignment, I often have limited time for interviews. My equipment needs to be quick, intuitive, and reliable so I can focus entirely on my subject.

The Elinchrom LED 100 C is a perfect solution for me. It’s compact, easy to pack in my camera backpack, and incredibly quick to set up. With separate dials for brightness and color temperature, I can adjust the light in seconds, while the clear display gives me precise control over the settings.

Accurate color balance straight in-camera

When shooting on location, I match the camera’s Kelvin setting to the ambient light and then set the same value on the LED 100 C. The result is natural skin tones and accurate colors straight out of the camera – without time-consuming post-production.

Full control over lighting

Another major advantage is the flexibility to use any light modifier, allowing me to create exactly the look I want. For this shoot, I used a translucent umbrella to achieve a soft, natural light and a nice catchlight in the subject’s eyes.

Reliable battery performance for freedom and flexibility

The battery performance of the LED 100 C really impressed me. I completed two interviews without external power and still had half the battery left. It gives me the freedom to work efficiently without worrying about extra cables or power sources.
